Skill level – Easy
A balloon sizer is essential when making balloon arrangements so you can equally size your balloon’s. Having a sizer can save you a lot of time when inflating lots of balloons in a number of sizes. The sizer has a variety of sizes for you to measure your balloons against.
What You Need
- 1 x A1 Foam board, 5mm thick
- Pen or Pencil – Pencil is better as you can rub out any lines afterwards.
- Craft knife
- Tape measure
- Selection of household items in the required diameters. My most used and preferred diameters are 11 inch, 10 inch, 8 inch, 6 inch, 5 inch, 4.5 inch, 4 inch, 3.5 inch, 3 inch, 2.5 inch, 2 inch.
How to Make it – Your 3 Step Guide
Step 1 – Lay it all out
Place all items on the foam board and draw round these, make sure you leave enough room between the spaces to make sure the sizer is still sturdy when these are cut out.
Step 2 – Time to cut
Cut all circle’s out with your craft knife. Make sure when you cut these out you have something underneath to stop the surface from being marked. Pop out all the circles and trim with the craft knife where necessary to neaten the circles.
Step 3 – Label your sizes
Write all your sizes underneath the cut-out sizes on the board

Tip’s
Make sure you put something underneath the foam board when you are cutting to prevent any damage to the surface underneath.
